The Socage forSte 16A 4×4 MEWP is an innovative articulated telescopic aerial work platform for pick-up vehicles, in both 4×2 and 4×4 versions. Its basket takes two operators plus materials and rotates left and right, and automatic return to the transport position comes as standard.
A light, robust 4×4 MEWP
The boom is made from modern high-strength steel profiles, giving a high-quality, lightweight platform with a structure designed specifically for pick-up vehicles.
Front-mounted basket
The articulated boom of the 16A gets over obstacles at height more easily, and good load distribution ensures confident off-road handling.
The front-mounted basket is an innovative feature of this pick-up platform. It makes it easier to approach roofs and overhead structures, and to carry out certain tree-cutting manoeuvres, with greater precision and no risk of collision.
Simultaneous movements
The new hydraulic system, working with the Socage control panel, delivers smoother, proportional movements and better control, even when several movements are made at once.
Mobility in town and off-road
The comfort and mobility of a pick-up, combined with the compact dimensions of the 16A, set this 4×4 MEWP apart from other vehicle-mounted platforms, with excellent manoeuvrability in city centres where access and space are limited.
Great adaptability
The low weight of the assembly, the large free space on the load bed and, depending on the pick-up model and the country of registration, the option to increase the vehicle’s permitted gross weight let customers adapt the equipment extensively to their needs.
