The SOCAGE ForSte 20D SPEED truck-mounted cherry picker is an innovative double-articulated truck-mounted aerial platform with SPEED functionality, which has revolutionized the market thanks to its standard-equipped automatic stabilization system.

It achieves a working height of 19.60 m and a horizontal outreach of 9 m with a generous maximum basket load of 230 kg (2 operators + material).

The ForSte 20D SPEED stands out due to technical features highly valued by operators: the complete SPEED H + H equipment with fixed vertical outriggers (stabilization within the vehicle’s footprint), the front-mounted basket, and, among others, the ability to perform multiple movements simultaneously.

SPEED H+H Function

Socage’s SPEED H + H function increases safety and facilitates a correct stabilization maneuver. This is why the ForSte 20D SPEED truck-mounted cherry picker is perceived as one of the easiest platforms to stabilize on the market.

It includes SOCAGE’s automatic stabilization function with fixed vertical outriggers as standard, as well as automatic retraction from the basket (HOME function). As standard, it even allows automatic stabilization from the basket.

The use of extra-long vertical outriggers guarantees quick and correct stabilization, offering improved leveling capabilities while requiring less space. Furthermore, the use of the standard-supplied outrigger pads protects the ground surface at the setup location.

FRONT-MOUNTED BASKET:

Very popular with self-propelled aerial platforms but not yet common with truck-mounted aerial platforms. This allows for more precise operations with minimal space requirements, without the risk of collision, as there is no boom mounted under the basket. Additionally, this increases operator safety when rappelling with an optional rescue line in emergency situations.

MULTIPLE MOVEMENTS WITH AN AERIAL WORK PLATFORM

The new hydraulic system, together with the Socage control console, allows for smooth and proportional movements for better operator control, even with multiple movements simultaneously.
